a) 1 John 5:11. God has given us Eternal Life and this is in His Son.
b) 1 John 5:12. The Person who has the Son of God has Eternal Life.
c) 1 John 5:13. If we Believe in the Name of the Son of God we should know that we have Eternal Life.

The act of self exaltation is an extremely proud and wrong act. As True Believers we need to hate the pride that God also hates and live in humility before Him. The Bible also teaches us that exalting ourselves is not only pride but also foolishness.
