Do Not Take Disobedience To God Lightly.’
a) Hebrews 10:28. Proven disobedience to the Word of God for Jewish people meant that they were shown no mercy and executed.
b) Deuteronomy 13:8. When meeting with people in disobedience to God. We should not:-
1- Be influenced by them.
2- Listen to their reasoning.
3- Deuteronomy 19:13. Have pity on them.
4- Feel sorry for them.
5- Protect them.
c) Deuteronomy 17:6; 19:15. There had to be more than one witness for any punishment to be given. A witness was a witness and not a gossip.

‘Let Our Lights Shine.’
Matthew 5:14-16.
a) Matthew 5:14. We are lights for the World – like cities on a hill.
b) Matthew 5:15. We never hide a light but put it on a lamp stand.
c) Matthew 5:15. We are supposed to be light first to everyone in the house. (Those people who are closest to us)
d) Matthew 5:16. Our lights shine through our good works that Glorify God.

We are lights for the World, like cities on a hill. If we a travelling in a vehicle across a plain at night and there is a hill in the distance, if there are any cities on that hill they can be clearly seen by a glow of light, even at a distance! This is how our lives should be as True Believers. We are supposed to be like cities on a hill at night time.
