The Lord Our Shepherd!


‘The Lord Our Shepherd.’
a) Isaiah 40:11. Gently and lovingly takes care of His sheep.
b) Jeremiah 31:10. Will gather and watch over His sheep.
c) Ezekiel 34:23. Looks after His sheep and takes good care of them.
d) John 10:1-2. Never startles His sheep.
e) John 10:3 & 14. Calls His Own sheep by name and leads them out.
f) John 10:4. Goes ahead of His Sheep.
g) John 10:9. Gives Salvation and Freedom to His sheep.
h) John 10:11 & 15. Is THE Good Shepherd Who gives His Life for the sheep.
i) John 10:16. Has many sheep.
j) 1 Peter 5:4. Is the Chief Shepherd.
k) Hebrews 13:20. Is the Great Shepherd of the sheep.
l) Zechariah 13:7; Matthew 26:31. Is the Shepherd that was struck down.

‘The Certainty In Belonging To Jesus.’
John 10:28.
a) He gives Eternal Life to us.
b) We will never perish.
c) No one can steal us out of His Hand.
(This Second gives me Joy and Assurance in The Certainty Of Belonging To Jesus)

Jesus is THE Good Shepherd. We can rejoice in the fact that He is our Shepherd and He is committed to caring for us as such. Also He is the Chief Shepherd, giving a shining example to all under shepherds who are serving Him.
