An Awful Example!

'An Awful Example.'
Jude 1:7.
a)  The examples were sexual immorality and perversion.
b)  The places were:-
1-Sodom.
2-Gomorrah.
3-The town around that region.
c)  They serve as an example.
d)  Of those people who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
(This QT teaches me An Awful Example)
--------
'Unbelieving Thinking.'
John 9:29.
a)  The Jewish doubting opponents.
b)  Believed that God spoke to Moses.
c)  As for Christ.
d)  They did not even know where He came from.
(This Second one reveals the Unbelieving Thinking of the Jewish doubting opponents)
--------
Chris.
There are many examples for us to learn from in the Bible. Some of these examples are wonderful - revealing Christ and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. Others are examples of committed obedience to the Lord. There are also some clear warning examples, all the examples, the Scriptures teach us are for us.

For All Of Us!

'For All Of Us.'
Isaiah 53:6.
a)  We all, like sheep, have gone astray.
b)  Each of us has turned to our own way.
c)  The Lord has laid on Jesus.
d)  The sins of us all.
(This QT reminds me the Jesus Christ died For All Of Us)
--------
'An Angry Opposition.'
John 9:26-28.
a)  John 9:26. The Jewish opponents asked the healed blind man what Jesus did for him. How did Jesus open his eyes?
b)  John 9:15 & 27. The healed blind man said that had told these Jewish opponents already. They did not listen to him.
c)  John 9:27. The healed blind man asked them why they wanted to hear the story again. He asked them mockingly if they wanted to become Jesus' Disciples.
d)  John 9:28. The Jewish opponents hurled insults at the healed blind man.
e)  John 9:28. They accused him of being a Disciple of Jesus.
f)  John 9:28. The Jewish opponents claimed to be disciples of Moses.
(This Second one reveals to me An Angry Opposition)
--------
Chris.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray. This is very comprehensive! There is no person who can say that they have never gone astray. The example that is given by God here is sheep. How easily sheep go astray! One leaves the flock and you can be sure that a few others will follow and become stray sheep together.

Don't Let Me Cause Other People To Stumble!

'Don't Let Me Cause Other People To Stumble.'
Luke 17:1.
a)  Here Jesus was talking only to His Disciples.
b)  Things that cause people to stumble.
c)  Are inevitable.
d)  But woe to anyone through whom they come.
(This QT is my sincere Prayer: Don't Let Me Cause Other People To Stumble)
-------
'One Thing I Do Know.'
John 9:25.
a)  The healed formerly blind man spoke out.
b)  Whether or not the Man Who healed me is a sinner I do not know.
c)  One thing I do know.
d)  I was blind but now I see.
(This Second one reveals to me assurance and certainty: One Thing I Do Know)
-------
Chris.
Don't let me cause other people to stumble. This should be the Prayer of every True Believer. There are so many fragile Churches today that have been made fragile because people have caused others to stumble. Jesus not only gave us a Message to give to others, He also gives a lifestyle that He wants us to live before others too!

Chains!

'Chains.'
a)  Jude 1:6. Chains bind rebellious angels.
b)  Revelation 20:2. Chains bind Satan.
c)  Judges 8:26. Chains were worn by camels.
d)  Judges 16:21. Chains bound Samson.
e)  1 Samuel 15:32. Chains bound Agag the King of the Amalekites.
f)  1 Kings 6:21. Chains protected the entrance to the Most Holy Place.
g)  Psalm 107:14. The Lord breaks our chains.
h)  Isaiah 28:22. We are to stop mocking or our chains will become heavier.
i)  Isaiah 51:14. Chains bend down the captive exile.
j)  Isaiah 52:2; 58:6. We can remove our chains of slavery.
k)  Jeremiah 20:2. Jeremiah was put in chains.
l)  Jeremiah 29:26. False prophets should be put in chains.
m)  Jeremiah 30:8. God will break and snap the chains that bind His People.
n)  Lamentations 3:7. Chains are heavy and way those bound by them down.
o)  Acts 16:26. An earthquake caused the chains to fall off all the prisoners.
p)  Acts 24:27; 25:14; Ephesians 6:20. Apostle Paul spent a long time as a prisoner in chains.
(This QT Teaches me more about the significance of Chains)
-------
'A Sinner.'
a)  John 9:24. Jesus was accused of being a sinner.
b)  1 Timothy 2:14. Eve was deceived and became the first sinner.
c)  James 5:20. A sinner can be turned from the error of their way.
d)  Luke 7:39. Jesus received the ministry of a sinner.
e)  Luke 18:13. A sinner may cry to God for Mercy.
f)  Luke 19:7. Jesus accepted the invitation of sinners to be their guests.
(This Second one makes me realise that there is always Hope for A Sinner)
-------
Chris.
When we are in chains, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, we do well not to compare ourselves with other people or to mock other people, doing so only makes our own chains become heavier and our hearts more bitter. When we are in chains the only sensible thing to do is to keep looking to the Lord Who is able to set us free from our chains.

The Pains Jesus Bore For Us!

'The Pains Jesus Bore For Us.'
Isaiah 53:4-5.
a)  He took up our pain.
b)  He bore our suffering.
c)  We thought that God was punishing Him for His own failures.
d)  He was stricken.
e)  He was afflicted.
f)  He was pierced for our transgressions.
g)  He was crushed for our iniquities.
h)  The punishment that brought us Peace was upon Him.
i)  By His wounds we are Healed.
(This QT makes me very grateful for The Pains Jesus Bore For Me)
------
'Despised By His Own Wife.'
1 Chronicles 15:29.
a)  The Ark of the Covenant of the Lord.
b)  Was entering the City of David.
c)  Michal, the Daughter of Saul.
d)  Watched from a window.
e)  Michal saw King David dancing and celebrating ecstatically.
f)  Michal despised him in her heart.
(This Second one reveals to me that this is not only a modern problem: Despised By His Own Wife)
------
Chris.
Jesus Christ bore our suffering on the Cross. There are so many kinds of suffering and so many types of pain that are caused by suffering. I don't think that anyone enjoys suffering at all. I have met several people who have had a lifetime of suffering. Outwardly we think of that as so miserable and yet many sufferers have a close and loving relationship with God.

God's Power To Heal And Rescue!

'God's Power To Heal And Rescue.'
Psalm 107:20.
a)  Psalm 147:15. The Lord sent out His Word.
b)  He healed them.
c)  He rescued them.
d)  From the door of death.
(This QT reveals to me God's Power To Heal And Rescue)
------
'Another Fulfilment Of God's Word.'
1 Chronicles 12:23.
a)  God allowed a Registry of Recruits.
b)  These Recruits joined David at Hebron.
c)  They were ready and anxious.
d)  To turn Saul's Kingdom over to David.
e)  This is what the Lord said would happen.
(This Second one teaches me Another Fulfilment Of God's Word)
------
Chris.
God has Power both to Heal and to Rescue. When we see God's Love and Power being manifested in these ways it surely causes us to Praise and Give Thanks to Him. God sometimes Heals and Rescues Sovereignly, there are other times when he uses human beings to do it. This is not restricted to True Believers only - it includes everybody who is involved in Healing or Rescuing. Healing and Rescuing are manifestations of God's Kingdom being manifest on Earth.

Be Reminded!

'Be Reminded.'
a)  Jude 1:5. Of the Ways of the Lord.
b)  Genesis 41:9. of our former shortcomings and failures.
c)  1 Samuel 19:4-5. Of the good things that other people have done.
(This QT calls me to Be Reminded)
------
'Finding Good Is Joyful.'
Luke 15:9.
a)  The woman found her lost drachma.
b)  She called her friends and neighbours.
c)  She called them to Rejoice with her.
d)  The only reason for Rejoicing was that what was lost is found.
(This Second one teaches me that Finding Good Is Joyful)
------
Chris.
We need to be reminded of the Ways of the Lord. Sometimes, when we live in an agnostic or atheistic environment we easily forget the Ways of the Lord. We have a belief in God, but it becomes more and more challenging to live out our Faith because we are so influenced by the environment. When we live in a religious environment, whatever religion it is, we are constantly being challenged as to our Faith and to our way of life.

Despised And Rejected!

'Despised And Rejected.'
Isaiah 53:2-3.
a)  Jesus Christ grew up as a tender shoot. This describes His human childhood personality.
b)  Jesus Christ grew up as the Root of Jesse.
c)  There was no beauty or majesty that made Him attractive.
d)  There was nothing in the Appearance of Jesus Christ that should make us desire Him. (Especially at the time when He hung on the Cross)
e)  He was:-
1-Despised.
2-Rejected by mankind.
3-A Man of suffering.
4-Familiar with pain.
f)  He was like one from whom people hide their faces.
g)  We held Him in low esteem.
(This QT reminds me that Jesus Christ was Despised And Rejected for me)
-----
'His Word Comes.'
Jonah 3:1.
a)  The Word of the Lord.
b)  Came.
c)  To Jonah.
d)  A second time.
(This Second one confirms to me that His Word Comes)
-----
Chris.
When we see the life span on Earth of Jesus on the Earth we can see His Life recorded from His Infanthood right up to His Ascension. This fact helps me to understand that Jesus understands fully the 'growing pains' of young people and also the persecution of young people who love Him. It also means that He understands when young people feel 'misunderstood.

He Will Complete It!

'He Will Complete It.'
Philippians 1:6.
a)  We need to have confidence about this.
b)  He Who began a good work in us.
c)  Will carry it on to completion.
d)  Until the Day of Jesus Christ.
(This QT gives to me the confidence that He Will Complete It)
----
'Gracious And Pleasant Words.'
Proverbs 16:24.
a)  Gracious Words and Pleasant Words.
b)  Are as a honeycomb.
c)  They are sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
(This Second one teaches me the Power of Gracious And Pleasant Words)
----
Chris.
In this I do have confidence. God will complete what He has started in me. I Trust God! Even though there have been many strange 'happenings' in my life, this does not take away my Faith and Trust in God. It is very evident to me that God is still completing what He has begun and I Trust Him to finish it.

They Crept In Secretly!

'They Crept In Secretly.'
Jude 1:4.
a)  Jude writes of the real situation in the Churches.
b)  Certain men crept in amongst the True Believers.
c)  These men:-
1-Are ungodly.
2-Have no reverence for God.
3-Have no fear.
d)  Their condemnation was written about long ago.
e)  They perverted the Grace of God into a license for immorality.
f)  They deny God, (Who has Dominion) and the Lord Jesus Christ.
(This QT reminds me that all Churches must be aware because They Crept In Secretly)
----
'Go By Faith.'
Hebrews 11:8.
a)  By Faith.
b)  Abraham.
c)  When called.
d)  To go to a place that he would later receive as his inheritance.
e)  Obeyed.
f)  He went.
g)  Even though he did not know where he was going.
(This Second one encourages me to Go By Faith)
----
Chris.
Certain men crept in among the True Believers. This is still today something that happens in the Churches. These men are ungodly, they may appear to be godly - but they are not - they are deceivers. They have no Reverence for God and no Fear of God, they were destined for condemnation from the beginning. Their main influence is leading people into immorality and denial of God.

We Need To Believe It!

'We Need To Believe It.'
Isaiah 53:1.
a)  There is a Message here.
b)  There is a Revelation here.
c)  The Message needs to be Believed.
d)  The Revelation needs to be understood.
(This QT tells me that I Need To Believe It)
---
'Give Joyful Thanks To God.'
Colossians 1:12.
a)  Ephesians 5:20. We give Joyful Thanks To The Father.
b)  He has qualified us.
c)  Acts 20:32. To share in the Inheritance.
d)  Of God's Holy Kingdom.
e)  In the Kingdom of Light.
(By this Second one I Give Joyful Thanks To God)
---
Chris.
There are many Truths in God's Word, all of them I need to Believe. If I do not Believe the Truths of God's Word it basically means that I do not Believe God. That is a serious situation. Some of us put God into a place where we think He should be, by doing this we are actually not Believing God but limiting Him. Let us choose to Believe the Truths of God's Word. Let us search the Scriptures to discover the Truth.

A Gentle God!

'A Gentle God.'
Hosea 11:3-4.
a)  God teaches His People to walk.
b)  God supports them by their arms.
c)  God's People did not realise.
d)  It was God Who was healing them.
e)  God guided them with human kindness.
f)  God guided them with ties of love.
g)  God treated His People like His Children.
h)  God lifted them as a little child to the cheek.
i)  God bent down to feed them.
(This QT reveals that my God is A Gentle God)
---
'God's Kingdom Is A Holy Kingdom.'
Ephesians 5:5.
a)  We can all be sure of this fact.
b)  There is no inheritance in the Kingdom of God.
c)  For the people who are:-
1-Immoral.
2-Impure.
3-Greedy.
4-Idolaters.
(This Second one assures me that God's Kingdom Is A Holy Kingdom)
---
Chris.
God supports His Children (His People) by their arms, this is just like a father and child loving relationship. Most children who are supported in such a way by their fathers at first may think that they do not need such support, then they quickly find out that they do. We True Believers are the same. We cannot walk the Believer's walk in our own strength. Something inevitably will go wrong. We need God's support as a life-long thing.

Contend For The Faith!

'Contend For The Faith.'
Jude 1:3.
a)  Apostle Jude called the True Believers 'Dear Friends'.
b)  Jude was very eager to write to his friends.
c)  It was about mutual Salvation.
d)  He felt it necessary to urge and exhort his friends.
e)  They were to contend for the Faith that had been entrusted to them.
f)  This Faith was entrusted to them once for all.
(This QT encourages me to Contend For The Faith)
------------------------------
'God Works Out Everything.'
Ephesians 1:11.
a)  In Christ we have been chosen.
b)  We are predestined according to God's Plan.
c)  God works out everything.
d)  In conformity with the Purpose of His Will.
(Through this Second one I know that God Works Out Everything)
------------------------------
Chris.
We, like Jude's friends, need to contend for the Faith that has been entrusted to us. This is not about manifestations of Faith in individual Prayer or Church environments. This is about living in the World system with desires and goals that contend for the Faith. It means living as lights in a dark place. It means living in Love in both hateful and lustful situations. Yes, we are to contend for the Faith.

The Sprinkling Of The Nations!

'The Sprinkling Of The Nations.'
Isaiah 52:15.
a)  The Crucified Christ will sprinkle many Nations with:-
1-His Blood.
2-His Holy Spirit.
3-The Washing of His Word.
b)  The Crucified Christ will cause kings to shut their mouths.
c)  What the kings had not been told, they will see.
d)  What the kings had not heard about, they will understand.
(Through this QT I understand more about The Sprinkling Of The Nations)
------------------------------
'God's Lovely Thoughts'
Jeremiah 3:19.
a)  God wanted to treat His People like His Children.
b)  Deuteronomy 8:7. God wanted to give His People a pleasant and desirable land.
c)  Ezekiel 20:6. God wanted to give His People the most beautiful Inheritance of any Nation.
d)  God thought that His People would call Him 'Father'.
e)  God thought that His People would never turn away from Him.
(This Second one reveals more of God's Lovely Thoughts)
------------------------------
Chris.
The Crucified Christ will cause kings to shut their mouths. There are times when we True Believers need to be reminded of our real situation. We should never be presumptuous. There are times that I have been amongst True Believers who have followed the wrong way as far a Divine Authority is concerned. These people pray strongly, using the Lord's Name against kings and rulers of Nations, praying that things will be changed. This is incorrect - we should rather be praying for the Crucified Christ to do what He wants to do in the Nations.

The Lord Cares For Us!

'The Lord Cares For Us.'
1 Peter 5:7.
a)  We can cast all our anxieties on the Lord.
b)  Matthew 6:25. We can leave all our worries with the Lord.
c)  Because He cares for us.
d)  Psalm 37:5. We should simply commit our way to the Lord.
(By this QT I am thankful that The Lord Cares For Me)
-----------------------------
'The Lord Is Faithful.'
Psalm 94:14.
a)  The Lord will not reject His People.
b)  The Lord will not abandon His People.
c)  Deuteronomy 31:6. The Lord will never forsake His Inheritance.
d)  The Lord will not reject those people who belong to Him.
(Through this Second one I know that The Lord Is Faithful)
-----------------------------
Chris.
I am so thankful that the Lord cares for me! We do not know why we go through certain experiences in our lives, there are many True Believers who can testify to all kinds of different things that they have seen and experienced. This is a very personal and special positive fact - that the Lord cares for us.

Three Things To Fill Our Lives!

'Three Things To Fill Our Lives.'
Jude 1:2.
a)  It is God's Plan for us to be filled with these things abundantly.
b)  It was written to others by Jude as a Prayer.
c)  The three things are:-
1-Mercy.
2-Peace.
3-Love.
(This QT teaches me about Three Things To Fill My Life)
-----------------------------
'An Inheritance From God.'
Psalm 61:5.
a)  Psalm 56:12. God does hear our vows.
b)  God has given to us a special Inheritance.
c)  This Inheritance belongs to those people Who Fear His Name.
(This Second one reveals the reality of An Inheritance From God)
-----------------------------
Chris.
It is God's Will for us to be filled with Peace. The Word 'Peace' is a Biblical and proper Christian greeting. This Christmas Season is heralded as a time of Peace. In reality, God's Peace is something far more real, powerful and Holy than just a Greeting or a Christmas Blessing. God's Peace can fill our hearts and transform our lives.

An Awful Sight!

'An Awful Sight.'
Isaiah 52:14.
a)  Here is Christ on the Cross - a word picture.
b)  There were many people who were appalled at the sight of Christ being tortured.
c)  His appearance became so disfigured.
d)  He was not recognisable as a human being.
e)  His Form was marred beyond human likeness.
(This QT reveals to me An Awful Sight - the torture of Christ on the Cross)
---------------------------
'Our Inheritance.'
a)  Psalm 47:4. Is chosen for us.
b)  Psalm 78:55. Is allotted to us by the Lord.
c)  1 Peter 1:4. Can never:-
1-Perish.
2-Spoil.
3-Fade.
4-Be removed.
(Through this Second one I am reminded of My Inheritance)
---------------------------
Chris.
The Form of Christ was marred beyond human likeness! Whether modern or historical no-one enjoys looking at pictures of people who have been tortured in battle or conflict. Torture leaves behind very ugly and terrible pictures. Yet Christ suffered such torture on our behalf so that our sins can be forgiven and that we may have New and Eternal Life.

Find Rest For Your Soul!

'Find Rest For Your Soul.'
Matthew 11:28-30.
a)  Matthew 11:28. Jesus Christ's invitation to us.
b)  Matthew 11:28. Is to come to Him.
c)  Matthew 11:28. Come especially if we are tired or burdened.
d)  Matthew 11:28. Then He will give us rest.
e)  Matthew 11:29. We are to:-
1-Accept His Teachings.
2-Take His Yoke upon us.
3-Learn from Him.
f)  Matthew 11:29. Jesus Christ is Gentle and Humble in heart.
g)  Matthew 11:29. We will find rest for our souls.
h)  Matthew 11:30. The yoke that Jesus Christ gives us to bear is easy.
i)  Matthew 11:30. The burden that Jesus gives us to carry is light.
(Through this QT I Find Rest For My Soul)
---------------------------
'Innocent And Blameless People.'
Psalm 37:18.
a)  The Lord watches over the lives.
b)  Of the innocent and blameless people.
c)  The Reward and Inheritance of the blameless people.
d)  Will endure forever.
(This Second one shows Innocent And Blameless People)
----------------------------
Chris.
Jesus Christ invites all people, everywhere, to come to Him. This invitation is to everyone. There is Rest, Truth and Help if we come to Him. We can learn so many things from Him if we come to Him. Yes, this invitation is to everyone, not just True Believers who already have Faith in Him. Jesus is calling all peoples to come to Himself.

Jude's Letter To God's People!

'Jude's Letter To God's People.'
Jude 1:1.
a)  Jude was a Servant of Jesus Christ.
b)  Jude was the brother of James.
c)  Jude was writing to those people who had been called by God.
d)  Jude was writing to people who were beloved in God the Father.
e)  Jude was writing to people who were kept for Jesus Christ.
(This QT introduces me to Jude's Letter To God's People)
--------------------------
'The Inheritance For The Nations.'
Deuteronomy 32:8.
a)  This Inheritance was given by the Most High God.
b)  It was God that divided all of mankind.
c)  It was God that set up the boundaries and fixed their borders.
d)  God's Decisions were according to the number of His sons.
(This Second one teaches me about The Inheritance For The Nations)
--------------------------
Chris.
Jude was writing to people who were kept for Jesus Christ. Every True Believer is kept for Jesus Christ. The Saviour and Lord has a specific Plan and Purpose for all people who belong to Him. God's People do not automatically know everything about God and His Plans, this is why He has given us His Word, so that we can learn more about Him and His Ways.

Christ Exalted!

'Christ Exalted.'
Isaiah 52:13.
a)  Christ is the Son and Servant of Father God.
b)  Christ acts wisely.
c)  Christ shall be:-
1-Raised.
2-Lifted up.
3-Highly exalted.
(This QT shows to me Christ Exalted)
--------------------------
'A Precious Prayer.'
Psalm 28:9.
a)  Psalm 106:47. Save Your People.
b)  Bless Your Inheritance.
c)  Psalm 78:52; Isaiah 40:11. Be their Shepherd.
d)  Isaiah 63:9. Carry Your People forever.
(This Second one is A Precious Prayer for me to Pray)
--------------------------
Chris.
Christ shall be lifted up! I can see three meanings of this brief statement. Firstly, Christ was going to be lifted up on the Cross to be the Sacrifice for our sins. Secondly, Christ was lifted up back to the Father's Right Hand at His Ascension. And thirdly, Christ should be exalted and lifted up in our Worship. (Whatever part of Worship is not important, it should be in all Worship)

Never To Be Shaken!

'Never To Be Shaken.'
Psalm 55:22.
a)  Cast all our cares on the Lord.
b)  Give all our worries to the Lord.
c)  He will sustain us.
d)  He will care for us.
e)  He will never let the righteous people be shaken.
f)  He will never let the righteous people be defeated.
(This QT encourages me to Never Be Shaken)
-------------------------
'After Dismissal.'
Judges 2:6.
a)  Joshua dismissed the people and told them to go home.
b)  Then the people went to take possession of the land.
c)  Each went to their inheritance.
(Through this Second one I discover what happened After Dismissal)
-------------------------
Chris.
God will never let the Righteous people be shaken. Although in many ways there may be a shaking taken place and the situation may be difficult. Because of the indwelling God, His people, the Righteous people, will not be shaken. This is the Promise of God! If we are one of the people who grew up in a family that was always shaking God wants bring Peace to our hearts from those previous life experiences.

Face To Face Is Better!

'Face To Face Is Better.'
3 John 1:13-14.
a)  Apostle and Church Father John had many things that he wanted to write to the Church.
b)  He did not want to use pen and ink.
c)  He wanted to come and see the Church Members soon.
d)  He wanted to speak to them face to face.
e)  John Blessed them with:-
1-Peace.
2-Greetings.
3-Words of encouraging Fellowship.
(This QT teaches me that Face To Face Is Better)
-------------------------
'God's Intention For His Beloved People.'
Deuteronomy 15:4.
a)  He wanted no poor people or beggars amongst His Beloved People.
b)  He wanted to give His Beloved People a Land to possess.
c)  This land would be the inheritance of His Beloved people.
d)  God's Desire was to richly Bless His People.
(Through this Second one I find God's Intention For His Beloved People)
-------------------------
Chris.
Father John wanted to speak to the Church face to face. This is very normal for every pure and Believing father. No father who lives in the Light wants to separate himself from his family. If he has to work away from home, his desire to come home to visit and fellowship with his family is always strong, to see them face to face. I think that it is the same with Spiritual fathers.

Go With God!

'Go With God.'
Isaiah 52:11-12.
a)  When it is time to depart then it is time to go out.
b)  2 Corinthians 6:17. In going, touch no unclean thing.
c)  If we are serving the Lord we need to come out and be pure.
d)  We will not leave in haste.
e)  We will not run away.
f)  John 10:4. The Lord will go before us.
g)  The God of Israel will be our rear guard.
(This QT encourages me to Go With God)
------------------------
'Not Yet There.'
Deuteronomy 12:9.
a)  You have not yet reached. (Keep Going)
b)  The Resting Place.
c)  The Inheritance.
d)  These are what the Lord our God is giving to us.
(This Second one reminds me that I am Not Yet There)
------------------------
Chris.
We will not run away! One of the most wounding things for a Church Congregation is when its Leader or Leaders run away. This does sometimes happen and I am happy to report that it does not happen too frequently. If it has happened in the Family of God where we Worship regularly then surely God, in His Shepherd Love, wants to heal and restore the assembly.

Experiencing The Holy Spirit Within Us!

'Experiencing The Holy Spirit Within Us.'
1 Corinthians 2:11-12.
a)  Only we know our own thoughts. (We should reject "mind-readers" as occult)
b)  Only the Spirit of God knows the thoughts of God.
c)  We have not received the spirit of the World.
d)  We have received the Spirit Who is from God. (The Holy Spirit)

Chris.
There are many things, as True Believers, that God wants us to know. Of course we should follow the Lord with all of our heart - that is very basic. There are clearly other things that God not only wants us to feel or experience, but He wants us to know. The way that we get to know is through the Word of God. Part of the Holy Spirit's work in our lives is to help us to understand and know the Word of God.

When I read the Testimony of Demetrius I long to see many like him in the Churches today. It was not only that he could preach and teach well but also he had an excellent character, it means that he could naturally Glorify God without any kind of acting or pretence. The spiritual father of the Churches also spoke well of him. Let us pray for more people like Demetrius in the Churches.

Chris.
Jesus Christ the Lord has paid the price for our Redemption at the Cross. Salvation is not about fate, it is about Covenant. The Price for our Salvation is totally and fully paid. We should be able to respond to this great manifestation of the Grace of God with Thanksgiving and being Yielded to God. The Lord has Redeemed us, we can live in confidence in Him.

There was Joy set before Him as Jesus saw the Eternal Picture of what He was achieving at the Cross. This Joy was 'set' before Him, it was immovable. What Jesus did for us at the Cross opens up an amazing way into New and Eternal Life. When we take the Holy Communion Service we should do so with grateful hearts. Jesus has Joy for us!

Chris.
Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. These are not the Words of an Old Testament Prophet, they are the Words of one of the earliest Church Fathers - Apostle John. John's love for the Churches was deep, wise and real. His Letters prove these facts. When he writes about doing what is evil he is writing about deliberate acts of evil.
