'The Pains Jesus Bore For Us.'
Isaiah 53:4-5.
a) He took up our pain.
b) He bore our suffering.
c) We thought that God was punishing Him for His own failures.
d) He was stricken.
e) He was afflicted.
f) He was pierced for our transgressions.
g) He was crushed for our iniquities.
h) The punishment that brought us Peace was upon Him.
i) By His wounds we are Healed.

c) Michal, the Daughter of Saul.
d) Watched from a window.
e) Michal saw King David dancing and celebrating ecstatically.
f) Michal despised him in her heart.

Jesus Christ bore our suffering on the Cross. There are so many kinds of suffering and so many types of pain that are caused by suffering. I don't think that anyone enjoys suffering at all. I have met several people who have had a lifetime of suffering. Outwardly we think of that as so miserable and yet many sufferers have a close and loving relationship with God.
