c) Romans 12:1. To offer your body as a living sacrifice to God.
d) Romans 15:30. To pray,
e) Romans 16:17. To stay away from Church trouble makers.
f) Ephesians 4:1. To live a life worthy of the Calling which we have received.

Hyper-religious fasting never achieves anything! Unless we are clearly directed by the Lord to fast, or have a regular fasting practice, we should avoid fasting without reason. Fasting is supposed to change us and not to push and persuade God in some way.
