God On Our Side!


'God On Our Side.'
Genesis 31:42. 
a)  If the God of my Father,
b)  The God of Abraham,
c)  The Fear of Isaac,
d)  Had not been with me,
e)  Certainly now you would have sent me off empty handed. 
f)  But God has seen my affliction and my hard work,
g)  And He issued His Verdict last night. 
(Through this QT I see the reality of God On Our Side)
PRAYER: Thank God that He is on our side.

'We Sometimes Need To Be Silent.'
a)  Genesis 24:21. And the man, wondering at her, remained silent so as to know whether the Lord had made his journey prosperous or not. 
b)  2 Kings 2:3 & 5. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him: "Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?" And he said: "Yes, I know, keep silent."
c)  Job 13:5. Oh, that you would be silent, and it would be your Wisdom.
d)  Zechariah 2:13. Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, because He is aroused from His Holy Habitation. 
e)  Luke 20:26. But they could not catch Him in His Words in the Presence of the people. And they marvelled at His answer and kept silent.
f)  Acts 12:17. But motioning to them with His Hand to keep silent,
g)  1 Corinthians 14:28. But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in Church,
(This Second one reminds me that We Sometimes Need To Be Silent)
PRAYER: For God to help us to be silent when we need to be silent.

We should be able to thank God that He is on our side. This is not just an emotion, or a circumstantial proof, it is a Biblical Promise and Reality. The Bible asks us that, if God is for us, who can be against us? We do not always look at the circumstances, or the evidence, we need to Trust the Word of God.
