Genesis 31:45.

PRAYER: God help us to keep our promises.

Psalm 43:1.
a) Vindicate me, Oh God,
b) And defend my cause
c) Against an ungodly people,
d) From the deceitful and unjust man
e) Deliver me!

PRAYER: To be vindicated when we need to be.

This is an important Prayer to pray: "God, please help me to keep my promises." Some people because of their desire to please others, make promises that are very hard, or even impossible, to keep. We should think before making promises that are going to effect human lives, (whether other people's or ours). A promise is a promise and should be kept and definitely not habitually broken. The picture shows children, they should be taught to keep their promises whilst they are young, then they will grow up as "promise keepers".
