1 John 3:2-3.
a) Now we are the children of God.
b) What we will be has not yet been made known.
c) We know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him.
d) We shall see Him as He is.
e) All True Believers who have this Hope in Him purify themselves.
f) Just as He is pure.

One of the ways in which True Believers keep themselves pure is through our Hope in the appearance of Christ. This Hope is a reality that puts a check list into our minds. This check list, as we examine it personally really helps us. We do need to keep that Blessed Hope.
