Isaiah 53:2.
a) Isaiah 11:1. Jesus grew up like a young plant.
b) He was like a root out of dry ground.
c) He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him.
d) Isaiah 52:14. There was nothing in His Appearance that we should desire Him.
(Through this QT I want to Forget The Frilly Bits in the erroneous pictures I see regarding the tortuous Death of our Lord)

Luke 22:33.
a) Peter audaciously replied to the Lord Jesus.
b) That he was ready to go to jail with Him.
c) That he was ready to die with Him.
(Through this Second one I can learn from Apostle Peter's Unreal Enthusiasm)

What made Christ so desirous for the disciples to be with Him was certainly not His Physical Appearance. Apart from the time that He was Glorified before them He seemed to be a very normal looking man who travelled much in the desert. What made Him so desirable was the fact that the fullness of the God Head dwelt in Him.
