‘We Should Not Be Spiritually Short Sighted.’
2 Peter 1:9.
a)
Whoever lacks the
qualities of Godliness is blind, they cannot see what is right before them.
b)
They have become
oblivious to this fact.
c)
They have been cleansed
from their old sins.
(This QT reminds me that I Should Not Be Spiritually Short
Sighted)
‘We Should Follow Jesus.’
John 8:12.
a) Jesus was speaking to the crown of people.
b) He said that He is the Light of the World.
c) The person who follows Jesus will not be
walking in the dark.
d) The person who follows Jesus will have the
Light which is Life.
(This Second one exhorts me that I Should Follow Jesus)

If we are True Believers then we have been cleansed from our old
sins. The New Testament goes over this fact many times and it is even mentioned
in the Old Testament too. We need to live by the Holy Spirit in the reality of
God’s Word. The entrance of His Word always brings Light. The only way in which
we are going to be exposed to God’s Light is through His Word.
