‘Facing The Time.’
2 Peter 1:14.
a)
Peter knew
that it was time to face the time.
b)
The time was
the time to lay down his tabernacle. (His physical body)
c)
The Lord Jesus
Christ made it quite clear to him.
(This QT helps me to be Facing The Time when it
comes)
‘Fear God Only.’
Matthew 10:28.
a) Do not fear the people who can kill the body
but cannot kill the soul.
b) But rather Fear God.
c) God holds our entire life, body and soul, in
His Hands.
d) He is the One Who determines if we go to Hell
or Heaven.
(This Second one exhorts me to
Fear God Only)

The Lord Jesus made it quite
clear to Peter about the time when He was to die. There are certain things
which God tells people and if God tells them it come to pass. If it does not
come to pass it may be a figment of their imagination. We should always be sure
when we say: “God says” that God has actually said.
