Proverbs 21:16-18.
a) Proverbs 21:16. The person who strays from common sense will end up in the company of the dead people. (They put their own lives at risk)
b) Proverbs 21:17. Those people who love pleasure become poor.
c) Proverbs 21:17. Those people who love wine and luxury will never become rich.
d) Proverbs 21:18. The wicked people are punished in place of the godly.
e) Proverbs 21:18. Traitors are punished in place of honest people.

Godly people are people whose sins are forgiven by God through what Jesus Christ has done on the Cross for them. These people are True Believers. These are Godly people and they have assurance of Eternal Life. Wicked people will be punished for their sin. It is only if they repent and turn to God that they can be saved.
