With The Lord There Is Forgiveness!


'With The Lord There Is Forgiveness.'
Psalm 130:3-4.
a)  Psalm 76:7; Revelation 6:17. If the Lord should mark iniquities. Who could stand?
b)  Isaiah 55:7. With the Lord there is forgiveness.
c)  So that we might Fear Him.

'Irreverence.'
Hebrews 10:29.
a)  Irreverent people deserve Eternal punishment.
b)  They deserve it because they have trampled underfoot the Son of God.
c)  They have profaned the Blood of the Covenant by which they are Sanctified.
d)  They have outraged the Spirit of Grace.
(This Second one reveals Irreverence to me. I want to keep free from it!)

Irreverence is something that sometimes creeps into Church almost unnoticed and it is not until it becomes obvious or rampant that we realise it. It means that we do not Fear the Lord anymore. It means that we have lost our Holy Regard and desire for Jesus. It means that we no longer trust the Blood of Jesus for our Sanctification. It also means that we have deeply grieved the Holy Spirit. No more irreverence please!
