'Get The Road Ready.'
John 1:23.
a) John answered in the Words of the Prophet Isaiah:
b) "I am only someone shouting in the desert,
c) "Get the road ready for the Lord."
(This QT encourages me to Get The Road Ready)
PRAY: To be able to do the Will of God - just as John did!

'Preparing The Way.'
John 3:28.
a) "You yourselves know how plainly I told you: 'I am not the Messiah.
b) " 'I am only here
c) " 'To prepare the Way for Him."
(This Second one reminds me that there is a Ministry of Preparing The Way)
PRAY: To be sensitive to the Lord in our Ministries.

The Gospel of John is the first book that any aspiring Gospel Preacher should read. Of course, eventually the entire Bible should be read but the Gospel is presented clearly through the Book of John. The Gospel Preacher needs to have a clear intention to present the Gospel with clarity to the non-believer, preparing the Way for the Lord's Work and Will.
