'Chosen By The Lord.'
John 15:16.
a) You did not choose Me,
b) But I chose you
c) And appointed you to go and bear fruit, (the fruit of hospitality, as seen in the picture, is very precious.)
d) Fruit that remains,
e) So that whatever you ask the Father in My Name
f) He will give you.
(This QT reminds me that we are Chosen By The Lord to be fruitful)
PRAY: To be a fruitful follower of Jesus Christ.

'Apostles Are Named By The Lord.'
Luke 6:13.
a) And when day came,
b) He called His Disciples
c) And chose from them twelve,
d) Whom He named Apostles.
(Through this Second one I clearly see that Apostles Are Named By The Lord)
PRAY: For our Churches to welcome true Apostolic Ministry.

It seems that the "foundation" of Jesus' Ministry was imparted to the Disciples before it was given to the Church as a whole. Probably the same happens today. There is the "private ministry" of Jesus to the Disciples in the Churches before the public manifestation of that Ministry. There are many patterns that the modern day Churches should learn from the early Church.
