'Made Into A Holy Priesthood.'
1 Peter 2:5.
a) You also as living stones,
b) Ae built up a spiritul house,
c) To be a holy priesthood,
d) To offer up spiritual sacrifices,
e) Acceptable to God
f) Through Jesus Christ.
(This Second one reminds me that we are Being Made Into A Holy Priesthood)

If we take time to think about what the word "priesthood" here it has a unique meaning It means a people who offer sacrifices that are pleasing to God. A true priest seeks first to live a life pleasing to God and then, secondly, to serve the people well. A true priest not only serves within the "comfort zone" of the Church, but also reaches out into the needs and tragedies of the community.
