John 15:3.
a) "I am the Vine,
b) "You are the branches.
c) "The one who remains in Me
d) "And I in him,
e) "Bears much fruit,
f) "Because apart from Me
g) "You can accomplish nothing."

'They Wanted To Stay With Jesus.'
John 1:38.
a) Jesus turned around and saw them following
b) And said to them:
c) "What do you want?"
d) So they said to Him:
e) "Rabbi" (which is interpreted Teacher),
f) "Where are You staying?"
(This Second one shows that They Wanted To Stay With Jesus)

When the Lord speaks to us we need to respond to Him in an appropriate way. Sometimes, as in the Second one, He actually asks us what do we want? It is both Gracious and Amazing that the Lord should ask such a question and we should answer Him carefully! This is all a part of our "relationship" with Him.
