'Jeremiah's Desperate Prayer.'
Jeremiah 17:18.
a) Let my persecutors be put to shame,
b) But do not let me be put to shame.
c) Let them be terrified.
d) Bring upon them the day of disaster
e) And shatter them with double destruction.

We should be able to pray for those people who may persecute us. Jesus tells us this fact in His New Testament Teachings. Jeremiah prayed for those who persecuted him to be put to shame. Jesus said that we are to "bless" those who persecute us. Both the praying and the blessing may be honestly extremely difficult! If, however, we can do this, we will be Helped and Blessed by God.
