'A Standard For Spiritual Leadership.'
Hebrews 13:7.
a) Remember your leaders,
b) Those who spoke to you the Word of God.
c) Consider the outcome of their way of life,
d) And imitate their Faith.
(This QT reminds me that the New Testament sets A Standard For Spiritual Leadership)
PRAY: For your Spiritual Leaders.

'Obey Your Spiritual Leaders.'
Hebrews 13:17.
a) Obey your Leaders and submit to them,
b) For they are keeping watch over your souls,
c) As those who will have to give an account.
d) Let them do this with joy
e) And not with groaning,
f) For that would be of no advantage to you.
(Through this Second one I note the importance of the exhortation: Obey Your Spiritual Leaders)
P'RAY: For God's Help and Strength in order to Obey Your Spiritual Leaders.

Spiritual Leaders, whether in home, Church or Nation, will have to give an account of their ministry to God. This is clearly taught in the Second part of this QT. God's Way was never 'the rule of the many', it was always through an anointed Leader or Leadership. This has not changed, even though the political environment around us may be different! We should be praying for our Spiritual Leaders and sometimes welcome them to a meal, as in the picture.
