Making Deceptive Conditions!


'Making Deceptive Conditions.'
Genesis 34:16. 
a)  We will give our daughters to you
b)  And take your for ourselves,
c)  And we will live with you
d)  And become one people. 
(This QT reveals to me the sin of Making Deceptive Conditions)
PRAY: That we will always be free from deceiving other people.

'Daughters.'
a)  Genesis 6:2. Need protection, their beauty may attract wrong people. 
b)  Genesis 19:8. Should be protected properly by their fathers.
c)  Genesis 28:8. When married, need to please their father-in-law. 
d)  Genesis 31:50. God can be a protective Witness for the daughters.
e)  Genesis 37:35. May try to comfort their fathers.
f)  Exodus 2:16. Sometimes have to work hard for their families.
g)  Exodus 10:9; Deuteronomy 16:14. Can join in Celebration and Worship.
h)  Exodus 21:4; 32:2. Can sometimes face seemingly unfair environments. 
i)  Numbers 18:11. Must get their share.
j)  Numbers 18:19. God includes them in His Provision and Promises.
k)  Numbers 27:7-8. Need to be properly provided for. 
l)  Numbers 36:2 & 6. The Lord looks after them. 
m)  Deuteronomy 5:14. Were to observe the Sabbath. 
n)  Isaiah 43:6. Families can Pray for them to come back home when necessary.
o)  Acts 21:9. May have Spiritual Gifts. 
p)  2 Corinthians 6:18. Are promised the Fatherhood of God. 
(This Second one reminds me of God's Special Promises for Daughters)
PRAY: For your Daughters and for the eligible and younger Daughters in your family and Church.

Believing families need to have a good testimony of the way that they care for and help their children - especially their daughters. Sons and daughters are different therefore their basic care should be suited to them. There are also special reasons for care for the daughters that families should make. If the daughters' needs are not properly met in the family, the family gradually becomes more and more dysfunctional.
