No Rush To Speak!

'No Rush To Speak.'
John 13:12.
a)  When He (Jesus Christ) had washed their feet
b)  And put on His outer garments
c)  And resumed His place,
d)  He said to them:
e)  "Do you understand what I have done to you?"
(This QT helps me to understand that Jesus had No Rush To Speak)
PRAY: For sensitivity to others when we speak.

'We Are Made Righteous By Faith.'
Galatians 3:23-24.
a)  Before Faith came,
b)  We were held captive under the Law,
c)  Imprisoned,
d)  Until the coming Faith would be revealed,
e)  So then,
f)  The Law was our guardian until Christ came,
g)  In order that
h)  We might be made Righteous by Faith.
(Through this Second one I thank God that We Are Made Righteous By Faith)
PRAY: For the understanding of what it means to be Made Righteous By Faith.

Chris.
There are still many times in our lives when the Holy Spirit echoes to us the Words of Jesus Christ our Lord: "Do you understand?" There are so many ways in our world, so many 'isms', that it is sometimes difficult to understand the Teachings of our Lord. His Teachings are different to most others in that they are communicated, not only by speaking, but also by doing.
This is why, not only the listening to the Church messages is important, but also the personal reading of God's Word. What has helped me more to understand the Word of God is to actually read it. There are all kinds of versions of the Bible, most of them very good, if in doubt, please ask your local Christian Bookshop for their recommendations.
The Bible is not only to be opened along with the Pastor's message on Sunday or Church Bible Study, it is to be read for ourselves. I consider reading my Bible as one of the most important parts of my day. The Word of God has power to influence our thoughts, words and actions.
If we do not know how to read our Bible, we can do two things, we can obtain books that help us with "Bible Study Methods" and/or just start to read it, maybe starting with Mark's Gospel and the Psalms (a suggestion).
