'He Took And Sent Them First.'
Genesis 32:22-23.
a) Jacob arose that night.
b) Jacob took his:
1-Two wives.
2-Two female servants.
3-Eleven sons.
c) He sent them over the Jabbok ford.
d) He also sent over all his possessions.
(This QT teaches me that He Took And Sent Them First)
PRAYER: For Wisdom when we are to move to another place.

'God Presented And Held Back.'
Romans 3:25.
a) For God presented Jesus as the Sacrifice for sin.
b) People are made right with God
c) When they believe that Jesus sacrificed His Life,
d) Shedding His Blood.
e) This Sacrifice shows that
f) God was being fair when He held back
g) And did not punish those who sinned in times past.
(Through this Second one I find God's Grace: God Presented And Held Back)
THANK GOD: That Jesus sacrificed His Life for our sins. He paid the price.

It must have been quite difficult for Jacob and his family to cross over the Jabbok Ford during the night. He had prayed specifically for this journey before he set out. All (family, flocks, and herds) were to arrive safely. Jacob knew what he was doing was right and in God's Plan. He was trusting God for and in the journey and for what was to happen at the journey's end.
If we and our family are to go on a major journey, the first thing that we are to pray about: Is this journey the Will of God? The second thing is: Are we able to trust God for all our family safety, provisions, future and belongings as well as the journey? The third thing is: Is this the right time to make the journey? (Have we prayed specifically about the time?) Sometimes it is good for the head of the family to go first and and see what the journey entails and make sure of the best way. When the journey is in God's Will, Plan and Time, we can have confidence to make it. It is really wise to do what Jacob did ... go and look and consider first, if that is possible.
There are some families that move without taking enough consideration. Faith, of course, is very important, when we are to move somewhere else, that faith needs to be in the hearts of all the family members.
PLEASE take consideration, if you want to move, not only of the place that you are going to, but also of your family members that you may be responsible for if you are the head of the family.
