They Were Poor In Every Way!


'They Were Poor In Every Way.'
Luke 2:24. 
a)  Joseph and Mary were an ordinary carpenter family. 
b)  It was hard work to "make a living"
c)  They were faithful to the Lord.
d)  They obeyed the Lord by returning to their city for the census.
e)  Their sacrifice was a pair of turtle doves or two young pigeons.
f)  This was the offering allocated by God for poor people. 
(This QT teaches me of Joseph and Mary that They Were Poor In Every Way)
PRAYER: For the financially poor people in your Church and Town.

Romans 8:16. 
a)  The Holy Spirit
b)  Bears witness with our spirit. 
c)  That we are Children of God - it is "we are" and not just "I am".
(Through this Second one we can have more Confidence About Who We Are in Christ)
PRAYER: Thanking God for the confidence the He gives us by the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, and through good and wholesome Fellowship with other Believers.

God can use very ordinary people for His Purposes, sometimes He uses wealthy, intelligent or well qualified people for His Plans and Purposes, yet, at other times He uses these very ordinary people. We should thank God that He chooses who He uses and not us. We simply affirm and respect His Choices.
