'Time To Wash Our Hearts!'
Jeremiah 4:13-14.
a)  Look!
b)  The enemy comes up like clouds.
c)  His chariots are like a whirlwind.
d)  His horses are swifter than eagles. 
e)  Woe unto us.
f)  For we are ruined.
g)  O Jerusalem.
h)  Wash your heart clean from wickedness.
i)  So that you may be saved.
j)  How long will your evil schemes lodge within you.
(This QT clearly tells me that It Is Time To Wash My Heart)

b)  Like sheep. 
c)  Have gone astray.
d)  We have all.
e)  Turned to our own way. 
f)  The Lord has laid on Him - Jesus.
g)  The iniquity of us all.
(This Second one gives me a grateful heart: Jesus Paid The Price)

When the Gospel is clearly Preached, without manipulation, it certainly has an effect on the hearts of the hearers. The Gospel, not the Preacher, calls for a response because it speaks to our hearts and lives, not just to our thinking minds. When we respond to the Gospel, the end result will be that we will have confidence in God's Gift of Salvation.
