Chris.
Nearly all names that are given to children in all the Nations of the World have a meaning and sometimes more than one meaning. This name can sometimes be a very accurate description of the character of the Child. Some religious Christian people give "Bible names" to their children. Adherents of other religions give the names of their gods to their children. Personally I think that we should be careful and sensitive about naming children. Most of them will live with their name for the remainder of their life.
