Hired Hands Or Shepherds?


'Hired Hands Or Shepherds?'
John 10:12-13.
a)  The hired hand is not the shepherd.
b)  The hired hand does not own the sheep.
c)  When the hired hand sees the wolf coming.
d)  He abandons the flock and runs away.
e)  The wolf the attacks the flock and scatters it.
f)  The man runs away because he is a hired hand.
g)  He cares nothing for the sheep.
(This QT calls me to Pray for Shepherds)

'Observing Sabbaths And Revering Sanctuaries.'
Leviticus 26:1-5.
a)  Leviticus 26:1. The Lord God Commands His People:-
1-Do not make idols.
2-Do not set up an image.
3-Do not have a sacred stone.
4-Do not have a carved stone in the land to bow down to it.
b)  Leviticus 26:1. God says that He is the Lord our God.
c)  Leviticus 26:2. The Lord says that His People should observe His Statutes.
d)  Leviticus 26:2. The Lord says that His People should have reverence for His Sanctuary.
e)  Leviticus 26:3. We are to follow His Decrees.
f)  Leviticus 26:3. We are to be careful to obey His Commands.
g)  Leviticus 26:4. Then God will send us:-
1-Rain.
2-Crops.
3-Fruit.
h)  Leviticus 26:5. There will always be:-
1-A continual harvest.
2-Enough to eat and choice of food.
3-A safe living environment.
(This Second one makes me consider Observing Sabbaths And Revering Sanctuaries)

Observing Sabbaths And Revering Sanctuaries are not just about historical Jewish Law, they are most beneficial for True Believers today. We need to have consideration for both the Old and New Testaments. In many of God's Laws we can find His Love for and His Protection of His People.
