1 John 4:2-3.
a) Father John knew how much the Church needed to have Discernment as a part of its regular function.
b) This is how we recognise the Spirit of God.
c) Every Spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.
d) Is of God.
e) 2 John 1:7. Every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus.
f) Is not from God.
g) 1 John 2:22. This is the spirit of Antichrist.
h) We have heard that this spirit has come.
i) It is in the World system already.

'Make The Good Choice.'
1 Kings 18:21.
a) The choice was set before the people by Elijah.
b) He told them to stop wavering between two opinions.
c) If the Lord is God, follow Him.
d) If Baal is your god, follow him.
e) The people said nothing. They did not answer Elijah at all.

If we have the Scriptures as our Guide, and know that assurance that the indwelling Holy Spirit gives to us, we can confidently know the things that God is giving to us - they become a reality in our lives. We have a personal responsibility to know the Scriptures more and more and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
