Isaiah 43:27-28.
a) The fathers sinned.
b) Those who spoke up for these people.
c) Sinned against the Lord.
d) The Lord then will make unclean the Leaders of the Holy Place.
e) The Lord will give Jacob over to be destroyed.
f) The Lord will give Israel sharp words of shame.

Hebrews 12:2.
a) Let us keep looking unto Jesus.
b) He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
c) He knew of the Joy that would be His later.
d) He endured the Cross and despised it's shame.
e) He is now sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God.
(This Second one reveals to me The Author And Finisher Of My Faith)

The Lord is perfectly able to give both people and places over to be destroyed. It because of the Love and Mercy of God that I live today. When we read these things we need to have a healthy Fear of the Lord and a real Faith in Him. Truly we need to keep on looking to Jesus.
