'God Shows His Love Towards Us.'
1 John 4:9.
a) God showed His Love towards us.
b) The Love of God is manifested towards us.
c) God has sent His only begotten Son into the World.
d) That we might Live through Him.

'Honour.'
a) Proverbs 5:9. Our Honour should not be lost to other people.
b) Proverbs 8:18. It is given by Wisdom.
c) Proverbs 11:16. A gracious woman will retain it.
d) Proverbs 18:12; 22:4; 29:23. Humility comes before Honour.
e) Proverbs 26:1 & 8. Is not fitting for a fool.
f) Isaiah 29:13; Matthew 15:8. To Honour the Lord is not just lip service.
g) Isaiah 58:13. Honour the Lord and His Day.
h) Matthew 19:19; Mark 10:19; Ephesians 6:2. Should go to our father and mother.
I) 2 Corinthians 8:19. Correct administration of Church Offerings Honours the Lord.
m) 2 Corinthians 8:23. Church representatives should be an Honour to Christ.
n) 1 Timothy 1:17. Should be given to the Eternal King.
o) 1 Timothy 5:3. Widows who are really widows.
p) 1 Timothy 5:17. Double Honour should be given to Church Leaders.
q) Hebrews 2:9. Jesus is now crowned with Honour.
r) 2 Peter 1:17. Jesus received Honour and Glory from God the Father.

The Love of God is manifested towards us. This is one fact that I have very clear assurance about. There are, and there will be, certain things that we do not understand. One of these things is the Wonderful Love of God. So often I wonder why the Lord should love me so much. Then I realise that it is not because of me, it is because of Jesus and what He has done for me.
