1 John 2:7.
a)
This is written to Friends and Brothers of
Apostle John.
b)
He was reminding them of an old Commandment
and not writing a new one.
c)
The old Commandment had been with them from
the beginning.
d)
The old Commandment is a Word that they had
already heard.

‘Jesus Christ Will Do It.’
John 14:13.
a)
Jesus was addressing His Disciples.
b)
He told them that whatever they asked in His
Name He would do it.
c)
That the Father may be Glorified in the Son.
(This Second one encourages my
Faith: Jesus Christ Will Do It)

John wrote his first letter to his
Friends and (Believing) Brothers. He was a spiritual father to the Churches and
was able to be frank, clear and loving in his letters. One thing that is
somewhat lacking in the Church today is spiritual fathers. We need to Pray that
God will raise up such men.
