a) Proverbs 16:25. It may end in disaster.
b) Isaiah 53:6 We go astray.
c) Psalm 36:2. We may become conceited and wicked.
d) Proverbs 23:4. In trying to get rich, we wear ourselves out.
e) Isaiah 5:21. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever.
f) Luke 12:19-20. Lost in worldly pleasures.
g) 1 Corinthians 3:21. Boasting about following a human leader.
h) 2 Corinthians 1:9. Rely only on God.

‘Three Clear And Undeniable Sober Facts.’
Revelation 6:9-11.
a) Revelation 6:9. People are martyred sometimes for the Word of God and because of their witness as True Believers.
b) Revelation 6:10. The Sovereign Lord will avenge their blood upon the Earth.
c) Revelation 6:11. There are yet still more martyrs to die.

People are sometimes martyred for the Word of God. This is obviously not a popular subject of everyday conversation amongst Church goers, but it is however the Truth. We need to pray for the families and friends of those who are martyred and their Churches too. We so often get taken up in our own things that we forget that there are still people being martyred for the Name of Jesus daily across the Earth.
