‘The Churches Of Galatia.’
a) Galatians 1:2.
Apostle Paul deliberately wrote in the plural because there were many churches in the province of Galatia. Galatia was named after the Gauls or Celts who invaded that area, but they in turn were crushed by the Romans. The northern region of Galatia was made up of small cities and mostly agricultural development. The southern region of Galatia was full of cities and commerce. In his missionary journeys Paul visited both North and South.
b) Acts 16:6. Paul and Silas travelled and preached there.
c) Acts 18:23. Paul went back there to strengthen the Churches.
(Through this QT: The Churches in Galatia, I am reminded of the importance of the area or regional Church as well as the local Church. It stimulates my prayer for unity amongst Churches)

‘The Purpose Of God’s Investment In Us.’
2 Corinthians 4:7.
a) We have this treasure (the Holy Spirit) in jars of clay (our human bodies)
b) To show that the excellent Power belongs to God.
c) It does not come from us.
(This Second one teaches me The Purpose Of God’s Investment In Me)

God has invested in us and He wants a good return for His investment. The return will be a manifestation of the Glory of God. We live for the Glory of Go and the treasure that is within us should show other people that the excellent Power of the Holy Spirit is from God, for God and belongs to God.
