c) Proverbs 9:4 & 16. An immoral woman.
d) Romans 8:12. Our sinful nature.
e) Deuteronomy 12:20. Our appetite for food.
f) 2 Samuel 17:16. A friend helping us to be safe.
g) Romans 15:30; 1 Timothy 2:1. The need to pray.
h) 1 Thessalonians 4:10. The need for love in the Church.
i) 1 Thessalonians 5:14; 2 Thessalonians 3:12. The need to warn lazy people.
j) Hebrews 13:22. The need to pay attention to the Word of God.

a) A stumbling block to the Jews.
b) To the Gentiles foolishness.
c) To those people who are called, both Jews and Gentiles: Christ the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.

In the first Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians there are some very important and holy matters revealed for the Church. If the Corinthian Believers were going to really have changed lives they needed to read, or listen to, this Epistle carefully. We need also to carefully read the Word of God if we are to have changed lives. Our first response to God should always be in the private place rather than in the public place.
