a) This was a ministry given especially to Jeremiah.
b) God made him a "Tester of Metals".
c) This ministry was to test the quality and ways of God's People.

Acts 20:28.
a) Guard yourselves.
b) Guard God's People.
c) Feed God's Flock.
d) Shepherd God's Flock.
e) God's Flock is His Church, purchased with His Own Blood.
f) Over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as Elders.
(This Second one is clearly For Church Leaders)

Church Leaders need God's Word for themselves. The Church Leaders are often very busy with the various ministries that the Lord may have given to them. It is possible to be preparing 'the message' for the Church week by week and yet miss out on the Word that God may have for them personally
