Come Up Here!


'Come Up Here.'
a)  Revelation 4:1. The Words from the Lord for John.
b)  Revelation 11:12. The Victorious Witnesses called to Heaven.
c)  1 Samuel 14:11-12. The Philistines mocking Jonathan.
d)  2 Kings 4:12-13. Elisha invited the helpful woman.
e)  Proverbs 25:7. We should never go up of our own initiative, wait for the Invitation.
f)  Mark 3:3. The man whom Jesus was going to heal He called.

'The Greek-Syrophoenician Woman.'
Mark 7:25-30.
a)  Mark 7:25. Her daughter had an evil spirit - the woman was so desperate that she fell down at the feet of Jesus.
b)  Mark 7:26. This Greek woman besought Jesus to cast the evil spirit out of her daughter.
c)  Mark 7:27. Jesus relegated, but not rejected her.
d)  Mark 7:28. She had the perfect answer of Faith to Jesus.
e)  Mark 7:29. Jesus was amazed at her saying and told her that the evil spirit had already gone from the daughter.
f)  Mark 7:30. When this woman went home she found the daughter resting on her bed and the evil spirit gone.

Here is the Invitation to Heaven from Jesus Christ to us. it is focused around those Words: Come Up Here. From this we realise that we go up to Heaven (not down). We realise that Heaven is a place to which True Believers are invited to by Jesus Christ, and we realise the great privilege to be at home with Jesus Christ forevermore.
