'Listen To The Lord.'
Isaiah 48:12-14.
a) Isaiah 48:12. God is calling His People to listen to Him.
b) Isaiah 48:12. God is reminding His People that He has summoned them and called them.
c) Isaiah 48:12. God is the I Am.
d) Isaiah 48:12. God is the First and the Last.
e) Isaiah 48:13. God's Own Hand laid the foundations of the Earth.
f) Isaiah 48:13. God's Right Hand spread out the Heavens.
g) Isaiah 48:13. When God summons the Heavens and the Earth, they all stand up together.
h) Isaiah 48:14. Everybody come together and listen.
i) Isaiah 48:14. There is no idol who can foretell these things.
j) Isaiah 48:14. The Lord's chosen ally will carry out His Desire towards Babylon.
k) Isaiah 48:14. He will Exert His Power against the Babylonians.

'The Proper Order Of Things.'
Acts 16:40.
a) Paul and Silas came out of the prison.
b) They first went to Lydia's house.
c) There they met with the Brothers and Sisters.
d) They encouraged these Brothers and Sisters.
e) Then they left.

God calls His People for a purpose and not to a position. If God puts one of His People in a significant position it is to fulfil His Purposes through that person in that position. What we need to be seeking God for, and then living in, is His Purpose for our lives.
