God Does Not Forsake Us!


'God Does Not Forsake Us.'
Matthew 4:1-11.
a)  Matthew 4:1. Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness. He was to be tempted by the Devil.
b)  Matthew 4:2. Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights. Then He was hungry.
c)  Matthew 4:3. At this time of need the Tempter came to Jesus.
d)  Matthew 4:3. The Tempter said to Jesus that if He was really the Son of God He should command for the stones to be made bread.
e)  Matthew 4:4. This is the answer whereby Jesus answered the Tempter: "It is written that man should not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of God.
f)  Matthew 4:5. The Tempter/Devil took Jesus up into the Holy City and set Him on the pinnacle of the Temple.
g)  Matthew 4:6. The Tempter then said to Jesus: "If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written He shall give His Angels charge over You, and, in their hands they shall bear You up, lest You dash your foot against a stone.
h)  Matthew 4:7. Jesus said to the Tempter: "It is written again, you shall not tempt the Lord your God."
i)  Matthew 4:8. Then the Tempter took Jesus up on an exceedingly mountain and showed Him all the Kingdoms of the World and their Glory.
j)  Matthew 4:9. Then the Tempter/Devil said to Jesus: "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."
k)  Matthew 4:10. Then Jesus said to him: "Away with you, Satan (Tempter/Devil)! for it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve."
l)  Matthew 4:11. Then the Tempter/Devil left Jesus, and, behold, Angels came and ministered to Him.

'Transformed By Jesus Christ.'
Philippians 3:21.
a)  Jesus Christ will transform our lowly body.
b)  Our lowly body will be transformed to Jesus Christ's Glorious body.
c)  This happens according to the working.
d)  By which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
(Through this Second one I thank God for the different ways in which I mat be Transformed By Jesus Christ)

Sometimes the Tempter/Devil tempts us to bravado of some kind. There is nothing to do with God's Will or Word in bravado, it is merely human strength. When the temptation comes there is no need to respond to it but, rather, come to God. He is able to give Victory over every temptation.
