Deuteronomy 6:21.
a)
They need to be
told God’s Word.
b)
They need to
know about their family’s past when they are old enough to know.
c)
They need to know
that the Lord brought them out of Egypt.
d)
The Lord did
this with great Power.

‘Offer Our Best To The Lord.’
Deuteronomy 17:1.
a)
Never offer to
the Lord an ox or sheep that is:-
1- Sick.
2- Defective.
3- Blemished.
b)
The Lord does
not feel honoured by such gifts.
c)
These gifts are
an abomination to the Lord our God.
(This Second one encourages me to Offer My Best To The
Lord)

The Lord did this with great power. When we read our
Bible and also when we see read or hear of the Lord working in different ways
today, sometimes we almost take these incidents for granted. We ‘get used’ to
hearing and telling Bible Stories. The reality of the situation is that the
Lord has done these things, whether ancient or modern, by His Great Power.
