Burden

a) Zechariah 12:1; 9:1; Ezekiel 12:10. Of the Word of the Lord in the mouth of His genuine Servant.
b) Genesis 49:15-16; 2 Chronicles 34:13; Nehemiah 4:10 & 17. Of an honest worker like Issachar.
c)  Exodus 6:6-7. Of bondage from the enemy.
d)  Exodus 18:22; Numbers 11:17. Shared amongst leaders.
e)  Numbers 11:11 & 14; Deuteronomy 1:9 & 12. Of too much leadership responsibility.
f)  2 Samuel 13:25; 15:33; 19:35. From people who are not in the Will of God.
g)  2 Chronicles 35:3. For the Priests carrying the Ark of God.
h)  Nehemiah 5:15; Luke 11:46. From cruel and unjust leaders.
i)  Job 7:20. To ourselves.
j)  Psalm 38:4. Of sin.
k)  Psalm 55:22; 68:19. Can be cast upon the Lord.
l)   Psalm 81:6; Isaiah 10:27. Can be relieved by the Lord.
m)  Isaiah 46:1. Of idolatry.
n)  Matthew 11:30; Acts 15:28; Revelation 2:24. From the Lord is light.
o)  2 Corinthians 1:8. Of Mission.
p)  Galatians 6:2. Can be relieved in the Body of Christ.

(This QT shows me that it is important for me to discern Burdens and to learn which ones that the Lord wants me to bear)

‘God’s Pure People.’

Zechariah 13:1-9.
a)  Zechariah 13:1. Are cleansed by God’s Fountain from their sins and impurities.
b) Zechariah 13:2. Are clean from:-
                            1- Idolatry.
                            2-    False prophecies.
                            3-    Unclean spirits.
c) Zechariah 13:3. Rid themselves deliberately from false “prophets”.
d) Zechariah 13:4. Discern deceiving ministers.
e)  Zechariah 13:5. Do their work and ministry honestly.
f)  Zechariah 13:6. Deal with the wounds that they receive from their friends.
g) Zechariah 13:7. Trust in the Power of the Cross of Jesus Christ, their Good  Shepherd.
h) Zechariah 13:8-9. Are refined by the Lord.
(This Second one teaches me in reality who are God’s Pure People)

Three things mentioned here that God really wants His People to be clean from. The first is idolatry, an idol is anything that comes between us and God and hinders our Worship. The second is false prophecies, these abound in the Church today, they are not God’s “new thing” rather they are a wounding influence to the Church and offensive to God. The third is evil spirits. God’s People should be free from evil spirits, Jesus gives us authority over evil spirits and the first ones we need to deal with are the ones which would harm or attack us in some way.
