‘Early Church Life.’

Acts 5:1-42.

a)    Acts 5:1-10. The Holy Spirit revealed liars and deceivers.

b)    Acts 5:11-13. There were three manifestations that were in the Church:-

1-  He opened the gates of the jail.

2-  He took the Apostles out of the jail.

3-  He told the Apostles to go back to the Temple and speak to the people the Message of Life.

g)    Acts 5:21. The Apostles did as the Angel told them.

i)      Acts 5:25-28. The Apostles were discreetly rearrested and sent back to face the Jewish religious council. The accusations were:-

o)    Acts 5:42. Apostolic activity continued:-

1-  Every day.

2-  In the Temple.

3-  From house to house.

4-  They kept on Teaching.

5-  They kept on Preaching Jesus as the Christ.

(Through this Second one I am challenged as to the real work of the Holy Spirit through Early Church Life)

Chris.

God always works everything out for good, especially for those people who love Him. We cannot always understand God’s Ways and we are not meant to because He is God. Some people persecuted for their Faith get early release from jail. Some stay there for years. Some people are martyred and some live. Some people never face persecution, some live out their entire life in persecution circumstances. We are not called to understand God, but rather to trust Him.
