Truth of Christ's Resurrection

'Truth Of Christ's Resurrection.'

a) 1 Corinthians 15:17; John 1:12k. Believing the Truth of the Resurrection is essential if we are to have New Life in Christ.

b) Romans 5:9-10. Basic steps to Salvation:-

1-Justified by Christ's Blood.

2-2 Corinthians 5:19; Romans 6:5. Reconciled to God through Christ's death.

3-Acts 2:24. Saved by Christ's Life (Resurrection Life)

c) Hebrews 10:17; Romans 8:1. When we are forgiven by God - it is something total.

d) 2 Corinthians 5:18. Now that we have been reconciled to God, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

e) John 6:37. Whoever comes to the Lord, He will never cast out, He is alive today.

f) Acts 17:31. The Resurrection of Christ gives to us assurance.

g) Colossians 2:15. Through His Resurrection, Christ has defeated all prinicipalities and powers.

h) Romans 10:9. We need to believe in our hearts that God has raised Christ from the dead.

i) Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6. Now Christ is alive in us and we can cry out "Abba, Father".

j) John 14:12-13. Because Christ is risen, we can do the works that He wants us to do.

k) Acts 1:8. Because Christ is risen, we can be filled with the Holy Spirit.

'Guidance From God.'

a) Acts 16:6-7; Isaiah 58:6-12. Should be ongoing and practical, simple obedience to the Holy Spirit inside us.

b) Romans 12:1-2. Should be clear to the committed True Believer.

c) Isaiah 30:21. God wants to keep us in His Will.

d) Joshua 1:7; Luke 22:42. We are not to turn our own way.

e) Ephesians 4:22-24. We need to be renewed in our inner man before we can live as a new person in Christ.

f) Matthew 15:19. An impure heart will lead us into deception.

g) John 21:21-22. For other people is not our business.

h) Proverbs 16:9. Trust God to direct our steps.

(Through this Second one I am convinced of the need for Guidance From God)

The Lord clearly tells us in His Word that He wants to guide us. His Guidance in not spurious or mystical. His Guidance is very clear to all those people whose lives are right with Him. If there is some barrier in our heart between ourselves and God, such as sin, unbelief or some kind of deception in our belief system, the only Guidance that God will give to us is to get rid of the barrier. Let us obey God and thus experience His Guidance.
