‘God’s Encouragement For His Children.’
Hebrews 12:5-6.
a) God Himself encourages His Sons and Daughters
with these Words which are originally found in the Book of Proverbs in the
Bible.
b) My child, do not make light of the Lord’s
discipline.
c) Do not give up when corrected by the Lord.
d) The Lord disciplines whoever He Loves.
e) If we know that we are accepted as a Child of
God we must expect His Discipline well.

‘The Lord Has Chosen Us.’
John 15:16-17.
a) We did not choose the Lord Jesus but He chose
us and appointed us.
b) So that we could go out and produce fruit that
lasts.
c) We are to Pray and ask the Father in the Name
of the Lord Jesus.
d) We are commanded by the Lord Jesus to Love
each other.

The Lord Disciplines
whoever He Loves. That sounds rather sombre but in actual fact it is a life
saver! If we did not receive the Lord’s Discipline we would surely be living
lives that wander eventually away from the Truth. I thank God for the Lord’s
Discipline in my Life. It is a proof of His Love for me.
