God Gave People As An Inheritance!

‘God Gave People As An Inheritance.’
Isaiah 14:2.
a)      God was referring to His People here.
b)     They would bring the people who were from other lands to their own place.
c)      The House of Israel would treat these people as their Inheritance in the land of the Lord.
d)     They were to be male and female servants for the Children of Israel.
e)      God’s People would take their captors captive and rule over their oppressors.
(This QT teaches me that in Old Testament days God Gave People As An Inheritance)

‘The Teacher’s Sensitivity And Compassion.’
a)      1 Corinthians 3:2. Apostle Paul fed the Corinthian Church with spiritual milk because they were not yet ready for spiritual food.
b)     Hebrews 5:12-13. The writer to the Hebrew Church had a similar heart towards them.
c)      1 Peter 2:2. Apostle Peter encouraged the young Believers to also begin with spiritual milk.
d)     John 16:12. Jesus Christ had the same heart. Teaching at the correct time.

Chris.

The people from other lands, in the days of the Old Testament, were to be the male and female servants for God’s Jewish People. The concept of forced slavery and servant-hood was abolished in the times of Jesus Christ’s Life here on this Earth. There is now no “us and them”, we are all “we”. The attitude that we have towards people who are from different backgrounds and Nations than ours should not follow the Old Testament ways of the Jews. Because of Christ, things have become very different. There is no more “us and them”. We are all God’s Creation, we all need God’s Grace, and if we are True Believers we serve one another in Love. There is absolutely NO room for discrimination in the Church. Church is the Family of God.
