a) We cannot live in the Light if we hate our brother.
b) If we love our brother we live in the Light.
c) We will not stumble if we live in the Light.

b) There was no need for Paul’s letter.
c) We ourselves are taught by God to Love one another.

God teaches us, as True Believers, to love one another. This is one of the basic facts of Christianity. Loving others always takes some effort that is why selfish people cannot love other people because of their selfishness. If we are willing to learn from God then He will surely teach us. The family, Church or community where people love each other is a very pleasant place to be.
