Be Free And Not In Bondage To Slavery!

‘Be Free And Not In Bondage To Slavery.’
Galatians 4:24-26.
a) Galatians 4:24. There are two women here. Hagar the slave woman and the free woman.
b) Galatians 4:24. These two women represent different covenants.
c) Galatians 4:24. The first Covenant is the Law that God made on Mount Sinai. People who are under this Covenant are like slaves.
d) Galatians 4:24. This is Hagar. The mother of Ishmael.
e) Galatians 4:25. Hagar is like Mount Sinai in Arabia and is a picture of the earthly Jewish city of Jerusalem. This city and its people, the Jews, are slaves to the Law.
f) Galatians 4:26. The Heavenly Jerusalem, which is above, is like the free woman. She is our mother.

b) We should know that loving the World system is the same as hating God.
c) Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the World system makes themselves God’s enemy.
d) The Scripture says that the Spirit that God has given to us and that lives in us wants us to be for God alone.

I cannot understand Christians whose security is in legalism, it is a false security. Legalism is born in bondage and always creates bondage. The Lord tells us the Truth always sets us free. We need to think about and ponder upon the Truth of God’s Word. God loves us and He will continue to lead True Believers into freedom in Jesus Christ. We will know the Truth and the Truth will make us free. Let us reject the false security of legalism.
