Reproof!


‘Reproof.’
a) Proverbs 15:5. It is prudent to heed it.
b) Job 26:11. When God gives it – it is so powerful.
c) Proverbs 1:23. If it causes us to repent, we can be filled with the Holy Spirit.
d) Proverbs 3:11. From the Lord is not to be despised.
e) Proverbs 10:10. If given boldly promotes Peace.
f) Proverbs 10:17. If we reject it we can lead other people astray.
g) Proverbs 12:1; 15:10. To hate it is stupid and can lead to premature death.
h) Proverbs 15:32. If we listen to it, we gain intelligence.
i) Proverbs 17:10. Will enter into a wise person.
j) Proverbs 29:15. Gives Wisdom to a child.
k) 2 Timothy 3:16. May come from the Word of God.
(This QT teaches me the great value and importance of Reproof)

‘When You Come Into The Land.’
Numbers 15:17-21.
a) Numbers 15:17. This was the Lord speaking to Moses and not just through Moses.
b) Numbers 15:18. Moses was to speak to the Children of Israel when God had brought them into the land that He was giving to them.
c) Numbers 15:19. When the Children of Israel ate the bread of this new land they were also to offer a contribution to the Lord.
d) Numbers 15:20. God was specific, of the first of their dough they were to offer to Him.
e) Numbers 15:21. This was to become a generational Worship habit.

God gives many things to His People. This is not just to do with historical dealings with Israel – but also it is for us today. We live in a materialistic World which has been damaged severely by human greed and people’s focus is often far too narrow. Even sometimes True Believers get caught in the trap of materialism. Let us widen our thinking through God’s Word and by the Holy Spirit, then we can better appreciate the fact that God gives many things to His People.
