The Counsellor!

a) Proverbs 11:14. Should give a sense of Security.
b) Proverbs 15:22. Helps correct plans to be established.
c) 2 Samuel 15:12. Even King David had one.
d) Isaiah 9:6. Jesus is the Counsellor – the pattern counsellor.
(This QT gives me respect for those people who serve as The Counsellor)

‘A Good And Bold Man.’
Mark 15:43.
a) Joseph of Arimathea was an important man but also he was good and bold.
b) He was waiting for the Kingdom of God to come.
c) He gathered his courage.
d) He went to Pilate to ask for Jesus’ body.
(In this Second one I find a good example for Christian Brothers, A Good And Bold Man)

The Counsellor has an important function in society that covers three major concepts. Firstly, there is the secular counsellor who counsels people in the World system in a secular way about their needs, this is acceptable and necessary. Secondly, there is the evangelistic counsellor who endeavours to bring people to Christ through counselling. Thirdly, there is Christian counselling which is given by True Believers and is for True Believers. The three areas should never be mixed and all counsellors need to decide their calling and function.
