c) Luke 8:15. Some people’s hearts are good ground. This means that when they hear the Word of God they keep it and they bring forth fruit with patience.
(This Second one is a clear message: Already In Church? – Be Good Ground)
------------------
Chris.
Faith needs to develop. Faith is something that is living and it has to grow and keep growing in the life of the True Believer. It should develop and grow continually until we go to Heaven.

We Need To Understand Grace!

‘We Need To Understand Grace’

Chris.
The Word of God is powerful, that is one of the things that is says about itself. One of the most powerful of its functions is the power to remind us of things that we need to be reminded about. When we ignore the Word of God then we spiritually starve ourselves.

Chris.
The Promise of the Lord is that He will Restore us again. This indicates that Restoration by the the Lord is something that we may need to experience more than once in our lifetime. If we need to Pray this prayer again today let us not be ashamed to do so: Lord, Please Restore Me!

To Really Enjoy Our Meals!

‘To Really Enjoy Our Meals.’
1 Corinthians 10:25-30.

h) Luke 17:6. Jesus told them that they do not need more Faith, they simply needed real Faith.
(This Second one teaches me about Faith And Response)
----------------
Chris.
Children are very sensitive and for most of them their experiences as a child are often remembered right through their adulthood. Christian parents that cause their children to lose their Faith are putting themselves in a very precarious position spiritually.

---------------
Chris.
The judging of disputes takes Patience, Wisdom and the leading of the Holy Spirit with a pathway that is close to the Scriptures. Disputes are never solved by “brushing them under the carpet” nor by a dictatorial attitude.

1- All people.
2- National leaders.
3- All people who have authority over us.
d) The effect of this Prayer is that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in a godly and respectful way.
(This QT reveals to me Prayer That Has An Effect)

Think About Other People!

‘Think About Other People.’
1 Corinthians 10:23-24.
a) It is true that we are allowed to do anything. (As long as we do not break National laws or local regulations)
b) But not everything is good for us.
c) Not everything is beneficial for us or for other people.
d) We should not be just concerned for our own good.
e) We should be concerned for the good of other people.
(This QT encourages me to Think About Other People)
-------------

k) Ephesians 4:13. When we come, as a Church, to Unity in our Faith and Knowledge of God’s Son then we will be mature and fully grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.
(Through this Second one I find how To Be More Like Christ, both individually and as a Church)
-------------
Chris.
The modern way in many evangelical Churches of presenting the Gospel to their hearers often misrepresents the True heart and meaning of the Scriptures. In the Book of Acts in the New Testament there were a few instances where individuals were ministered to but generally it was to whole cities and communities of Believers. In the Ministry of Jesus in the Gospels, there were only a few cases of individual ministry mostly He ministered to crowds or to His Disciples. The Gospel correctly presented is not an emphasis on “me and God” but rather “God and us”. Modern style individualistic Gospel preaching only produces selfish Christians who have a “what about me” attitude.

A Pleasant Meal!

‘A Pleasant Meal.’
Proverbs 15:15-17.

(This Second one encourages me to Pray For Victory Over My Enemies, whatever kind of enemies they may be)
------------------------
Chris.
There are frequent times in these days of plurality and compromise that mortals are defying the Living God. We can pray if we are suffering because of such circumstances that are in our environment. We can also take heart and Hope because God has the final word.

Making Disciples!

‘Making Disciples.’

------------
Chris.
Disciple makers are also witnesses of Jesus Christ. To make Disciples we do not teach them human logic or our favourite doctrines. The only way to effectively make Disciples is to Teach them from the Words of Jesus Christ. To be able to Teach the Words of Jesus Christ we need to receive those Words for ourselves and to live them out in our daily lives.

1 Corinthians 10:19-22.
a) 1 Corinthians 10:19. When people offer to a false god or idol they are offering to a “nothing”.
b) 1 Corinthians 10:20. These people are offering to demons not false god and idols.
c) 1 Corinthians 10:21. We cannot partake of the Holy Communion and continue offering to demons.
d) 1 Corinthians 10:22. Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s Jealousy as Israel did?
(This QT calls me to Follow The Pure Way)
-----------------------
‘When God Moves Us To A New Place.’
Jeremiah 29:7.
a) For the place the Lord has taken us to we are to work for its:-
1- Peace.
2- Prosperity.
3- Good.
b) We are to be praying for that place.
c) If the place has Peace and Prosperity, we will have it too.
(Through this Second one I see what my strategy should be When God Moves Me To A New Place)
-----------------------
Chris.
We cannot mix the Worship of God through Holy Communion and the worship of demons. For the True Believer this is a spiritual impossibility. We need to forsake all idol worship of any kind if we truly want to Worship God.

---------------------
Chris.
Here we see that when faced with his Mission task Apostle Paul humanly felt very weak. This is very normal and should be the attitude and reality in every True Missionary’s heart on the mission field, so, like Paul the Missionary can trust in the Holy Spirit’s Power.

‘Apostle Paul Sometimes Felt Weak.’

--------------------
Chris.
Apostle Paul sometimes got upset, it mentions here that one reason he got upset was when other people were led into sin. He knew the damage that sin can do to families, individuals and churches. It is quite acceptable to get upset about the right things.

Chris.
Knowledge of the Truth is something that every True Believer should yearn for. There are many deceptive teachings that attempt to infiltrate the Church in these days. True Believers need Knowledge of the Truth.

God’s Name is to be Praised. We live in days when it is very common to either praise or criticise other people. So often Church people talk about other people rather than talking about the Lord or God’s Word. Let us Praise God’s Name!

(Through this Second one I know that there is a Holy stirring: It Is Call Up Time)
-----------------
Chris.
When we partake of Holy Communion we are many individuals yet all of us share one Bread. We sometimes miss this thought when we all take individual wafers at the communion service rather than a literal loaf being broken. I do not oppose the use of individual wafers but they do tend to encourage the thought “me and Christ” rather than the thought “Christ, the Church and I” which is what Christ intended when He instigated this memorial ceremony. In taking the Wine and the Bread the Bible not only encourages us to think about our relationship with Christ but also with each other in the Body of Christ.

(Through this Second one I find God’s Love For Us Simply Expressed)
---------------
Chris.
We all need to confess our need of Christ. We need Him because we were all dead in our sins. If the reader is not a True Believer it means that you are still dead in your sins and need Christ to save you from your sin. He has achieved this through His death at Calvary and His Resurrection.

--------------
Chris.
The Pharisees and Sadducees bound people with their false teachings. Their teachings were legalistic and put people into bondage. This was directly opposed to the Teaching of Jesus Christ which brought and still brings Freedom to people.

b) See the new patch shrink and pull away from the old cloth.
c) Leave and even bigger hole than before.
(Through this Second one I pray that the Church will be free from leaders who are Bad Repairers that make a bigger problem for the people)
-------------
Chris.
Scoffers are an abomination to God, the Church and humanity. The statement that God unconditionally loves everyone is a lie that is told in many pulpits. Scoffers are an abomination to God. They can cause so much damage to people, families and Churches. If scoffers do not repent of their scoffing they put themselves in a very dangerous position with God.

3- Surely.
d) If its fulfilment seems slow – wait for it.
e) It will surely take place, it will not be delayed.
(This Second one teaches me What Happens With My Vision From God)
-----------
Chris.
We are to flee from the stranger who tells us wrong things. God has Created the Church to be the bastion of Truth. We live in days when many churches are spiritually struggling or dry. This means that the members of those churches are thirsty or disillusioned with Church. They should pray for their church and not run after some para church organisation or charismatic preacher. So often these para church and preachers are strangers we should be running from. The only para church that is acceptable is the para church that is supported by and accepted by the local Church, therefore the Church members can openly and honestly attend and serve those para church movements.

(This Second one reveals God’s Love For Zion and His Love for His Church)
----------
Chris.
The condition of the human heart is something that God regards as being important. In the Proverbs it tells us to guard our heart because it affects everything we do. Let us echo the words of the praise song: Cleanse my heart oh God.

---------
Chris.
God is the Master of Reconciliation. He sent His Son Jesus Christ so that through His finished work on the Cross we can be reconciled to God. God has made us messengers of Reconciliation. God also wants there to be, through Christ, Reconciliation between True Believers from Jewish and Gentile backgrounds.

5-To make the Church mature and full grown.
6-To make the Church measure up to the full stature of Christ.
(Through this Second one I find The Responsibilities Of The Ministry Gifts Of Christ)
--------
Chris.
God is Faithful. This is not just a positive statement it also describes the essential Character of God. God is Faithful to His People, God is Faithful to His Word and God is Faithful to keep His Promises. One of the biggest temptations that people face is to doubt the Faithfulness of God. God will give the strength and Grace to us to overcome that temptation.

(Through this Second one I find Love From God’s Perspective)
-------
Chris.
The Lord can do many things in our hearts if our hearts and lives are open to Him. One of the most amazing things that He can do is increase our love for one another in the Body of Christ. This will inevitably lead to God being Glorified amongst us.

-----
Chris.
When we read of the history of the city of Corinth around the Bible times it was a place that had a great pride of intellectual achievement. It was a city in which the people were highly competitive and it was a city that took pleasure in gross immorality. The same could be said of many modern cities today, especially in the developing world. Apostle Paul’s messages to the Corinthian Church were positively potentially life changing for the people if those people responded to the messages. Today these messages are 1 + 2 Corinthians in our Bibles. They are just as relevant and life changing if we would respond to them.

----
Chris.
We are called to pursue what is good. The World system today is filled with much greed, independence and evil. Many people are confused as to what is good. Very often the interpretation is “what is good for me”, which is not the correct interpretation. Our measuring stick should be – What is good for God’s Glory and then what is good for other people.

The Counsellor!

---
Chris.
The Counsellor has an important function in society that covers three major concepts. Firstly, there is the secular counsellor who counsels people in the World system in a secular way about their needs, this is acceptable and necessary. Secondly, there is the evangelistic counsellor who endeavours to bring people to Christ through counselling. Thirdly, there is Christian counselling which is given by True Believers and is for True Believers. The three areas should never be mixed and all counsellors need to decide their calling and function.

‘The Church’s Armour.’
(When Apostle Paul wrote about any form of spiritual conflict he was not addressing primarily the individual Believer about their “spiritual warfare”. Paul wrote to two Churches, Corinth and Ephesus, about this spiritual conflict. Both of these Churches were undergoing a very terrible persecution that is why the Church’s Armour was and is relevant and very important for the persecuted Church today.)

-------------------------
Chris.
In many of the Nations of the World the Church is facing persecution. For some it has been going on for years, for others it is a new experience. During the times of persecution two things are important: firstly the Prayers of God’s People throughout the World and secondly that the persecuted Church puts on its Armour.

Our ways are always seen by the Lord as He watches caringly over our lives. As we live out our daily lives many of our ways are seen by the people around us. Here are two reasons why we should follow the Biblical injunction to examine our ways and turn to the Lord.

Chris.
This is a very important and significant statement – there is deliverance through Jesus Christ our Lord. If we are in need of deliverance we should not necessarily look for a person to pray for us or minister deliverance to us. We should first look to Jesus Christ our Lord.

----------------------
Chris,
Sometimes we are perverted in our idea of God in that we think that Love is the only way that God has of expressing Himself. We get this idea from incomplete and incorrect exposition of God’s Word, especially in so called “Inner Healing” ministry. God can, as He sometimes reveals Himself in the Scriptures, express Himself in other ways. In Ephesians we read about the Anger of God. A balanced understanding of God is so important if our Faith is going to grow.

(This Second one points out my responsibility to be Living The New Life In Christ, I am not to judge other people, this is my responsibility for myself)
---------------------
Chris.
There are times in our lives when we may get involved in relationship conflicts. Normal people do not enjoy these times, there is pain and hurt, just like as in times of war. Whether it is in family, church or in friendships it needs to be resolved at a personal level. That is why sometimes, instead of letting our hurt drift into hate, we need good advice.
