'Revelation To Peter.'
Matthew 16:13-17.
a) Matthew 16:13. An important question that Jesus asked His Disciples: "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"
b) Matthew 16:14. They gave various different answers.
c) Matthew 16:15. Jesus wanted to know directly from Peter:
d) Matthew 16:16. Peter said: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God!"
e) Matthew 16:17. Jesus replied: "You are Blessed, Simon son of John, because My Father in Heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being."

Peter's reply to the question of Jesus Christ was both clear and bold. Peter really had understanding of Who Jesus was. One of the major problems of Believers to day is that they know, in some measure, what they Believe but they do not know Who they Believe. The Scripture says: "To know Him, then to make Him known."
